How can Google Analytics help to Optimise Content Performance

Google Analytics is the most widely used tool in the analytics space. And yet, so much of its potential value is left untapped by most organisations. With so much available data, getting the best value and use from Google Analytics requires a deeper understanding of its functionality and options matched against your business needs.

This training workshop takes you through the key concepts behind how content websites should use Google Analytics. It starts with reviewing how different content websites make money, then provides examples of how analytics can be used to improve the performance of content before going through the different options for collecting the information needed by any content producer in Google Analytics. Finally, there will be a run through of how to access and apply the insights now available to you.

Taught in the heart of London at the Barbican Centre, we’ll show you how experts optimise business performance for content, whether written, audio or visual. You’ll leave with an awareness of the strategies, tools and techniques, plus with key templates, that you need to optimise performance using the insights from Google Analytics.

What will this Analytics training course cover:

  • Key actions and data points for content websites & apps
  • The process for mapping out a content website to identify customer journeys
  • The Google Analytics tracking needed to understand content performance
  • How to convert the data within Google Analytics into the insights needed to optimise your business performance

Who is this Analytics training workshop for?

This training course is for anyone working in an organisation where the key focus on the website is on content pages (articles, blog posts, etc.) with responsibility for Google Analytics. It covers what they need to know to get value from the tool to meet their business needs.
