Twice in the past month, Ayima has been recognised in both the start-up and tech worlds for our growth as a company, both year-on-year and over the past five years. Earlier in November, Mike and I attended the Deloitte Fast 50 awards, where UK companies are recognised for growth driven by technology innovation. Ayima placed 32nd, sharing a place in the list of the country’s fastest growing companies with the likes of Infectious Media, Lovestruck.com and Skyscanner.
Last week, we were invited to the Tech Track 100 awards, where companies’ performance is rated on growth year-on-year. We placed 25th last year and 66th in 2013, carrying a good rate of growth across the past 24 months.
While growth isn’t a foolproof measure, we’re proud to have had a sustainable increase in business that has seen us appear in these lists for multiple years alongside other innovative companies. Their ongoing success is an impressive testament to tech-based commerce in the UK, of which Internet marketing and SEO is clearly a key part. We’ve been growing quickly during 2013 as well, opening our first European office in Stockholm and continuing to hire in New York… not to mention our London HQ, whose SEO team is now bigger than the entire company was when I joined Ayima in 2009.
Expect to see a few new developments from us as a team in the early part of 2014, like some tools on the back of our Redirect Checker (thank you all for the notes and tweets – it’s great to know how much you like it!) and a couple of other projects besides.
