A Little Bit About Karen
Karen is the Head of Client Strategy & Ecommerce for Ayima North America. With two decades of digital marketing experience, she has used her expertise to drive successful campaigns for Fortune 100 companies such as Best Buy, Macy’s and Verizon. Her technical prowess and thorough approach to the fine details of ecom, including product taxonomies, Google’s rich results and Free Listings (shopping), and content strategies ensure that her clients continually achieve maximum visibility.
She’s been brought in as a guest teacher to several Canadian universities to share her knowledge on both Paid and SEO to our future generations, and joined Best Buy Canada’s e-Commerce team and developed their in-house SEO department. Later joining Ayima in 2015, and has since been featured frequently in industry publications such as Search Engine Land and speaking engagements.
Her latest endeavors include a focus on SEM and SEO channel collaboration, and both the use of AI in company workflows, as well as optimizing clients for generative AI search results. Outside of work, Karen is a busy mom of two, and looks for breaks in spin classes, hiking, and reading The Witcher with a (couple) glasses of wine.
