Our team all have a solid technical background but also have a certain level of personal obsession. To us, SEO is not simply a great way of exponentially increasing revenues and the ROI of an online business - it is a hobby, a community, a way of life!
Mike Jacobson comes from an unorthodox business and analytical background, working with everyone from dotcom startups to blue-chip banks and government agencies. Although still desperately trying to go a full twelve hours without having to take a nap on the sofa, and thinking Search referred to the hunt for the remote control, Mike is the commercial tour-de-force behind Ayima's stunning success.
Mike Nott's first experience of Search was in 1984 at his elementary school science fair, where he resourcefully defied the odds to build a fully-functioning Search Engine out of lego. Mike was formerly head of the 25 person strong Search Marketing team at PartyGaming where he managed to lift PartyPoker out of the grave and straight to the very top of the table in the incredibly competitive online poker arena. Mike has been heavily involved in SEO for over 7 years and is the founder of the UK's largest SEO social group, the highly respected LondonSEO.
Born with a silver keyword in his mouth, Rob Kerry is the wunderkind of the Ayima team. Better known to his peers as evilgreenmonkey, Rob is barely out of grade school, yet is already a respected industry figure and a regular speaker at major events such as SES, SMX & WmW PubCon. Rob also moderates and writes a column for the world's leading SEO forum, Search Engine Watch but can usually be found at his local London pub, scoffing down pies and mash with a voracity that is truly astounding to the observer.
Tim Webb is a Senior Developer & SEO, most recently with PartyGaming where he was responsible for all SEO-related back-end development as well as visitor tracking and data-mining systems. Tim has been a developer/programmer for 9 years and in SEO for 4 years. Always with a keen eye on financial issues, when Tim is not writing mind-bending Java code and scraping immense piles of data from the internet, he likes to sew and knit his own clothes in order to preserve his bank balance.
